Eldorado City Council moves on pickup purchase
At the beginning of the regularly scheduled meeting of the Eldorado City Council Tuesday, Feb. 10, Fire Commissioner Jeff Minor asked for prayers for sewer plant worker Billie Bradley's father, Rob Bradley who is in the hospital.
Among items on the consent agenda was the approval of an ordinance authorizing Select Energy Partners to accept an electricity supply bid and execute an electric supply agreement. The ordinance was approved unanimously.
Street and Sewer Commissioner J.B. James reported that the purchase of a Ford F-150 pickup was going forward on the current fiscal year budget but a dump truck would be purchased with funds from next year's budget. The dump truck is going to cost an estimated $70,000 said James.
