OBITUARIES: Jeff Nolen

Jeff Nolen, 51 of 211 McIlrath Street, Harrisburg, died 3:23 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015, at Harrisburg Medical Center.

Funeral Services will be held noon Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015, at Felty Funeral in Carrier Mills. Visitation will be held 10 a.m. until service time Saturday. Burial will be at a later date. Memorials may be made for funeral expenses, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

He was born on Aug. 1, 1963, in Champaign, to the late Jack T. Nolen Sr. and Yulondia (Quick) Nolen whom survives.

He married Shannon Smith on Oct. 19, 2013, and she survives.

He was a free spirit and loved his family.

He is survived by his wife: Shannon Nolen of Harrisburg; mother: Yulondia Nolen of Harrisburg; three daughters: Amanda Nolen and Jennifer Quertermous, both of Harrisburg, and Amanda Jarrett of Red Bud; brother: Jack (Lori) Nolen Jr. of Harrisburg; stepmother: Polly Nolen of Harrisburg; two stepchildren: Deandre Moss and Shaniah Hobson both of Harrisburg; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father: Jack T. Nolen Sr.
