Eldorado Mayor says city within budget
Eldorado Mayor Rocky James ended the regularly scheduled meeting of the Eldorado City Council Tuesday Jan. 27 with an "attaboy" to the various department heads and council members for operating within the budget for 2015.
In other council business the members approved Resolution 2015-01 to appoint the mayor to work with Delta Regional Authority pertaining to the federal award program cycle involving the U.S. Route 45 widening utility adjustment for manholes and box culverts.
The council approved a report from Sarah Farmer of Southeastern Illinois Regional Planning and Development on its revolving loan fund. The fund has $31,538 in its accounts. Also approved was a roadblock request from Laborer's Local 773 for TLC Preschool on June 27.
A report from J.B. James, Street and Sewer Superintendent, noted that all new stop signs were installed and new street signs are on schedule.
