OBITUARY: Wayne Belford

Wayne Belford, age 88, of Sauk Village, passed away at 1:03 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23, 2015, at Franciscan St. Margaret Health Center in Dyer, Ind.

Wayne was born on Aug. 2, 1926, in Livingston, Ky., to the late Tracie Belford and Mary Ethyl Potts. On July 3, 1945, he married Mildred Margaret Guenard and she preceded him in death on June 19, 2012.

Surviving family members include his son: James Belford and wife Sheri of Mountain Green, Utah; son: David Belford of Charleston; daughter: Debra Batesman of Ogden, Utah; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; son, Wayne; and wife, Mildred.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015, at Reed Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Billy Dye Jr. will officiate. Burial will follow in Sunset Lawn Cemetery.
