OBITUARY: Reba E. Wasson

Reba E. Wasson, 98 of Brook, Ind., formerly of Columbus, Ind., passed away Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015, at the George Ade Memorial Health Care Center, Brook, Ind.

She was born May 1, 1916, in Harrisburg to the late Jessie and Laura Pennel Johnson. She graduated from the Harrisburg High School class of 1934, she enjoyed quilting and cooking. She married Arthur E. Wasson, December 1933 and he preceded her in death Dec. 11, 1973.

Reba is survived by two sons, Dennis D. and Martha Wasson, of Brook, Ind., and Delano D. and Barbara Wasson of Columbus, Ind.; grandmother of 10; great-grandmother of 11; and great-great-grandmother of four.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Janiece Ashworth and Gleta Wasson; one brother; and six sisters.

Visitation will be on 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, 2015, at the Bethesda Baptist Church, Herod, until time of graveside service at 11 a.m. with Dennis D. Wasson and Delano D. Wasson officiating. Reed
