OBITUARY: LaWanda Rose Howard

LaWanda Rose Howard, 86, formerly of Pontiac, Mich., died Friday, Nov. 28, 2014.

She was born Feb. 25, 1928, in Carterville. She was the daughter of the late Syble and John Jacobs; sister of William and Edward Hupka.

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 19, 2014, at Old Bushey Cemetery. Local arrangements are in the charge of Sloan Funeral Home, Galatia.
