OBITUARY: Frances Anita Smith

Frances Anita Smith, age 83, formerly of Harrisburg, loving wife, mother and "Nonnie," passed away at 8:20 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014, at Lakeview Ranch in Dassel, Minn.

She was born Nov. 14, 1931, in LaCenter, Ky., to the late Charles Emanuel and Emma Pauline "Polly" (Lanier) Gough. She lived in Harrisburg, IL most of her life where she was very active with friends and family; in her bridge club and her sorority, Beta Sigma Phi.

She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Faye (Cooper) Fleeger and husband Ken of Annandale, Minn.; her granddaughter, Farrah (Alexander) Friedrich, husband Steve and great-grandsons Brevin and Blake of Lake Elmo, Minn.; her great-granddaughter, Samantha Jones of Clear Lake, Minn.; her brother, Charles Gough and wife Joyce of Michigan Center, Mich.; nephew, David Gough, wife Velinda of Brooklyn, Mich.; nephew, Mike Gough, wife Maura and great-nieces Kelsey and Kylie of Jackson, Mich.; great-nephew, Bryon Gough, wife Kristine and great-great-nephews Brecken and Parker of Brooklyn, Mich.; great-nephew, Brad Gough and wife Stephanie of Ann Arbor, Mich.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Bob Cooper and Raleigh Smith Jr.; son, Robert Dean Cooper; and two grandchildren, Allison and Michael.
