OBITUARY: Johnny Ray Dallape
Johnny Ray Dallape, 39 of Casey, passed away at 8 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 7, 2014, in Casey.
He was born July 20, 1975, in Harrisburg, the son of Roger Lee Dallape and Diane L. Lewis Dallape. On June 14, 2008, he married Debra Ann Hall in Marion.
Survivors include his wife, Debra Hall Dallape of Casey; children, Logan, Dawson and Bryce Dallape, all of Casey; father, Roger Dallape of Harrisburg; sister, Carla Hill and husband Jason of San Diego, Calif.; grandmother, Johnie Mae Dallape of Eldorado; aunt, Linda Erwin of Benton; uncles, Richard and Joel Dennis Lewis of Stonefort and Jerry Lewis of Washington; father- and mother-in-law, David and Cathy Hall of Casey; brother-in-law, Steven Hall and wife Lindsey of Casey; and nephews and nieces, Lucas and Kyle Hill, Sydnie Hall, Hayden Orrell and Carson Hall.
He was preceded by his mother; paternal grandfather, Stanley Dallape; maternal grandparents, Joel and Dorothy Lewis; and uncle, Donnie Erwin.
Johnny was a 1993 graduate of Eldorado High School. He then attended Southeastern Illinois College in Harrisburg. Johnny was employed as a counselor at the Terre Haute, Ind., Federal Prison. He was a member of the Lakeview Masonic Lodge in Johnston City where he served as a Master Mason. Johnny enjoyed deer hunting and sports. He was a collector of sports and racing memorabilia and was an avid St. Louis Cardinal, St. Louis Rams and a NASCAR fan. His greatest joy was spending time with his children in their activities.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2014, at the Markwell Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Penelope H. Barber officiating. Burial will follow in the Washington Street Cemetery, Casey. Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. on Thursday at the Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey.
