OBITUARY: Kathy Shaw

Kathy Shaw, 84 of Galatia, passed away 12:02 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014, at her residence in Galatia.

She was born on Aug. 1, 1930, in Williamson County to the late Hershel and Bernice (Barnhill) Motsinger. Kathy was married to Frank Shaw and he preceded her in death. Kathy also worked at Bondo's Pizza in Galatia for over 14 years and also a CNA in home health care. She is a member of the New Life Church in Galatia.

Kathy is survived by two daughters, Mattie Adams and Sue Russell; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded by her parents; husband, Frank; and a brother, Bob Motsinger.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2014, at the Sloan Funeral Home in Galatia with visitation 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 8, 2014, at the funeral home. The Rev. John Hawkins will officiate with burial in the New Hope Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the New Hope Cemetery.
