OBITUARY: Roger Lee Rann

Roger Lee Rann, age 71 of Raleigh, passed away at 10:21 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 27, 2014, at Herrin Hospital.

He was born Oct. 17, 1943, in Harrisburg to the late Robert and Freda (Cowsert) Rann. On April 17, 1964, he married Carol (Jones) and she survives. Roger was a Coca Cola salesman for 28 years and an RC Cola salesman for 15 years. He was a member of Gaskins City Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife Carol, he is survived by two sons: Chris Rann and wife Brandi of Harrisburg and Stephen Rann of Raleigh; two grandchildren: Sierra Rann and Kiara "Punkin" Rann of Harrisburg; mother and mather-in-law: Dale and Bonnie Jones of Harrisburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: John Rann, Fred Rann, Randy Rann and sister-in-law: Donna Rann

Funeral Service was 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 1, 2014, at Reed Funeral Chapel with Kendall Jones and the Rev. Mike Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg.
