William E. Commean

William E. Commean, 63, of Du Quoin, passed away at 4:50 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014 at the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.

William worked in sanitation at the Du Quoin Cookie Factory.

He was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Du Quoin.

He was born July 2, 1951 at Du Quoin, Ill. the son of William F. and Imogene (Vancil) Commean.

William married Lisa Maudlin on May 7, 1999 at Murphysboro, Ill. and she survives.

He is survived by his wife- Lisa Commean of Du Quoin, Ill., one son - Camaron Rice of Du Quoin, Ill., one sister - Melody Bratten of Du Quoin, Ill. and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014 at the First United Pentecostal Church in Du Quoin with Rev. Dan McKinnies and Rev. C.L. McKinnies officiating.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday at the First United Pentecostal Church in Du Quoin.

Cremation Rites will follow the service.

Friends may make memorials to the First United Pentecostal Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
