Rosewater concert benefits Clothes for Kids

On Friday, Nov. 21, 107.3 W3D and Just One More Bar & Grill will host a concert event to raise much-needed funds to purchase coats for the children of Southern Illinois. Showtime will begin at 7 p.m. at Just One More, located at 1303 Enterprise Way, Marion, Ill. 62959.

The fundraiser will be headlined by Nashville, Tenn., based country-rock group Rosewater who will feature songs from their current album, Shotgun Wedding. As part of their themed live show, the band acts out a wedding ceremony on stage and encourages the audience to "dress in their favorite wedding attire" to make the event more fan interactive. Those who plan to attend are encouraged to donate to the Fowler-Bonan foundation. All admission proceeds will benefit their foundation. The show is sponsored in part by a generous donation from the Marion Walmart.

The Fowler Bonan Foundation is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, incorporated in the state of Illinois, whose primary mission is to provide clothing and shoes to low income children. The Foundation also assists, on a limited basis, families suffering temporary hardship due to disasters such as fire or illness, as well as other youth-related charitable endeavors.

"We're thrilled that W3D Radio, Just One More Bar and Grill, and especially "Rosewater" have come together to put on this unique night of entertainment," said Foundation co-founder Dale Fowler. "We encourage everyone to come on out Friday night and enjoy the show."

In 2003, Rosewater formed their Hands Foundation, a non-profit organization created to "simply help those in need." They perform concerts across the U.S. promoting various charitable causes in partnership with local non-profit agencies in each tour market.

Those who wish to donate but can't attend the show, may contact Sam or Susan Stilley at Just One More at (618) 993-9687.
