OBITUARY: Linda Daily

Linda Daily, 68, of Shawneetown, passed away at her home at 11:20 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 16, 2014.

She was born on Feb. 10, 1946, in East Prairie, Mo., the daughter of Wilson Lynn Edward and Helen Ruth (Hooper) Berry. Linda married John Henry Daily Jr. on Oct. 24, 1968, who survives.

Also she is survived by her daughter, Valerie Potter of Eldorado; two sons, David and wife Rhonda Daily of Bradenton, Fla., and John A. Daily of Soldotna, Alaska; two sisters, Sharon Keith of Shawneetown and Carolyn and husband Jim Gentles of Shawneetown; two brothers, Roy G. and wife Marilyn Berry of Equality and Donald Berry of Shawneetown; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Peggy Sue Berry and Janet Sue Frailey; and two brothers, Jimmie Lee and Lonnie Steven Berry.

There will be a private family service at a later date. Donations in Linda's memory may be made to the Hospice of Southern Illinois or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
