OBITUARY: Judy Sowers

Judy Sowers, 58, of 6551 US Highway South, Carrier Mills, died 1:20 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held noon Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014, at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. Visitation will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Jeff Owens will officiate. Burial will be Thursday in Twinsburg, Ohio.

She was born on Sept. 10, 1956, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late J.E. White and Lois (Cashin) Hemmer whom survives.

She married Charles Sowers on Feb. 19, 1977, and he survives.

She attended the Stonefort General Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family, working in the church and spending time with her church family. She also enjoyed working on about any kind of craft.

She is survived by her husband: Charles Sowers; mother: Lois Cashin; five children: Joshua (Brandy) Sowers of Harrisburg, Caleb (Katie) Sowers of Akron, Ohio, Erin Burtis of Amherst, Ohio, Anna Sowers of Harrisburg and Kelly (Charles) Carroll of Carrier Mills; two grandchildren: Seth Burtis and Samuel Burtis both of Amherst, Ohio; two stepgrandchildren: Austin Conley and Courtney Conley of Harrisburg; two sisters: Susan Probst of Streetsboro, Ohio, and Karen Rogers of Pennsylvania; brother: Greg White of Arkansas; and two stepsisters.
