OBITUARY: Margaret "Maggie" J. Ellis

Margaret "Maggie" J. Ellis, 68 of Jackson, Mo., formerly Harrisburg, died 1 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, 2014, at her residence.

Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014, at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. Visitation will be held noon Saturday. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery and the Rev. Tom Dutton will officiate.

She was born on Jan. 23, 1946, in Harrisburg to the late Haskell and Christina (Thompson) Ruble.

She married John R. Ellis on Feb. 20, 1965, and he preceded in death on July 10, 1992.

She is survived by a daughter: Tracy (Ken) Kietzer of Jackson, Mo.; son: Scott (Sharon) Ellis of Harrisburg; sister: Katie (Jim) Banks of Karbers Ridge; and two grandchildren: Mack and George Kietzer.

She was preceded in death by her husband: John R. Ellis; brother: John Ruble; and stepfather: Art Raymer.
