OBITUARY: Donald Ray Gwaltney

Donald Ray Gwaltney, 58 of Eldorado, died Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014, in Evansville, Ind.

He was born in Chicago on June 9, 1956, to the late Vernal and Lois (Gilwreath) Gwaltney. He worked mowing yards and was a handyman. He was a member of the Eldorado American Legion Post No. 169.

Surviving are his four aunts: Alice Fields, Margaret Muffett, Barbara Gwaltney and Alice Gwaltney Gunther, all of Eldorado. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother, Roy Gwaltney.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2014, at the Watson Funeral Home with the Rev. Russell Helton officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to the service time of 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2014.
