Donna Beckham

Donna Beckham, age 67, of Du Quoin, Ill., passed away on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014 at 6:45 p.m. in Herrin Hospital, Herrin, Ill.

Donna was born on Jan. 26, 1947 in Du Quoin, Ill., a daughter to Edward "Froggy" and Josephine (Lamb) Joslin. Donna was a member of the First Christian Church, Pinckneyville, Ill., was a seamstress for many years at Bridal Originals, Du Quoin, Ill., and worked as a CNA at Fairview Health Care and Rehabilitation Center, Du Quoin, Ill. for 12 years. Donna enjoyed playing Phase 10, Yahtzee and Bingo. She enjoyed spending time with her family and dearly loved her two dogs, Ozzie and Rocky.

Survivors include two sons, Jeremy Beckham and Jason Beckham, both of Du Quoin, Ill.; a daughter, Tisha (Paula "D") Beckham of Herrin, Ill.; two grandchildren, Kailey Beckham and Kody Sheets; two brothers, David (Bunny) Joslin of Rice, Ill. and Jim (Jennifer) Joslin of Pinckneyville, Ill. and a sister, Judy (Rollie) Kirby of Du Quoin, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Carl Joslin; a special sister, Loretta Louise West; a nephew, Troy Joslin; a great-nephew, Marshall Irvin; an aunt, Maude (Jones) Harris; three uncles, Gene Jones, Carl Jones and Clarence Jones.

As per her wishes, Donna was cremated and a memorial service will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Du Quoin, Ill., on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with Brother Jeff Tucker officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Du Quoin, Ill.

Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Du Quoin, Ill. on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
