Marion D. Frazer
Marion D. "Tudie" Frazer, 84, of Perryville, Mo., formerly of Percy, Illinois, passed away at 4:40 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014 at Independence Care Center in Perryville, Mo.
She was born to the late William Clarence and Emma Eliza Ellen (nee: McKenzie) Vickers on Dec. 2, 1929 in Chester, Ill. She was the oldest of 15 children.
She married David Frazer on Dec. 27, 1952 in Piggott, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on Oct. 10, 1997.
Marion was a retired line worker for Gilster Mary Lee Corp.
She was of the Protestant Faith. She was also a life member of the Randolph County Genealogical Society, a life member of the American Legion Post #487 Auxiliary and a life member of the VFW Post #3553 Auxiliary.
Survivors include four children: Lavonda Frazer of Du Quoin, Ill., Larrell Frazer of Percy, Ill., Lola Crowder of Perryville, Mo. and Larry Frazer of Percy, Ill., seven siblings: Marlene Eckert of Chester, Ill., Marilyn Kay Andersin of Granite City, Ill., Marsha Kirkpatrick of Granite City, Ill., Milton Vickers of Perryville, Mo., Mike Vickers of New London, Mo., Millie Day of Springfield, Mo. and Maida Carson Ava, Ill., three grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
She was preceded in death by: parents, husband - David Frazer, seven brothers and sisters and two grandchildren - Glen Frazer and Rose Ann Crowder
Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, Oct. 20 at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, Chester, Ill., with Rev. Phil Keeton officiating
Interment will be in Percy Village Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Monday from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home in Chester, Ill.
