Prep Volleyball: Eagles fall in straight sets to Fairfield, Carmi-White County

The Eldorado High School volleyball team lost in straight sets 25-14 and 25-9 at Fairfield Monday night.

Dresdyn Bramlet was 6-for-6 on sets with 11 spikes and finished 5-for-6 on serves with five points, four blocks and 13 digs, while Mary Mitchell was 22-for-27 on sets with three spikes and one kill, while going 7-for-8 from the line with eight points, one ace and 19 digs.

Abby Steed was 16-for-20 on spikes with five kills and finished 2-for-2 on serves with two points, six blocks, two kills and 24 digs.

Katrina Beaumont was 3-for-4 on sets with five spikes and one kill, while finishing with 2-for-4 on serves with four points and 22 digs.

Brooklyn Peavler was 2-for-2 on serves with two points and four digs, while Lexi Clore was 2-for-2 on serves with two points and 15 digs.

Sydney Whitlock was 6-for-6 on spikes with one kill and 10 digs, while Lacy Jo Bradley was 1-for-1 on sets with two spikes, one kill and four digs.

Late last week, Eldorado lost in straight sets to Carmi-White County, falling 25-16 and 25-21.

Bramlet was 5-for-5 on sets with 10 spikes and one kill, while going 5-for-7 on serves with seven points, two blocks and 16 digs.

Mitchell was 29-for-31 on sets with three spikes, one kill and 5-for-6 on serves with six points and 15 digs.

Peavler was 1-for-1 on spikes, 7-for-7 on serves with seven points and 11 digs, while Steed was 3-for-3 on sets and 16-for-19 on spikes with three kills. Steed finished 4-for-5 on serves with five points, three blocks and 23 digs.

Beaumont was 1-for-1 on sets with three spikes and was 2-for-3 on serves with four points and 19 digs.

Clore had seven points on 6-for-6 serving with 12 digs and Whitlock was 4-for-4 sets with six spikes, two kills and five digs. Bradley had seven spikes, two kills and six digs.
