Prep Volleyball: Eagles fall in straight sets to Christopher
Christopher swept Eldorado 25-11 and 25-13 in prep volleyball action Monday night at Duff-Kingston Gymnasium.
In the loss, Abby Steed was 1-for-1 in sets with 11 spikes and one kill, while going 3-for-4 on serves with four points, three blocks, one kill and 21 digs.
Dresdyn Bramlet was 2-for-2 on sets and went 14-for-14 on spikes with one kill. The senior went 2-for-2 on serves with two points, three blocks and 17 digs. Mary Mitchell was 12-for-16 on sets with 1 spike, while going 2-for-4 on serves with four points, one ace and eight digs.
Rounding out stats for Eldorado were Brooklyn Peavler, who went 3-for-3 on serves with four points and four digs, while Katrina Beaumont was 1-for-1 on sets with two spikes, while going 3-for-3 on serves with three points and 19 digs.
Lexi Clore was 5-for-5 on serves with seven digs and Sydney Whitlock was 4-for-4 on spikes with one point and six digs. Lacy Jo Bradley was 1-for-1 on sets with four spikes and five digs.
The Eldorado junior varsity and freshmen team won in action against Christopher. Eldorado returns to action tonight (Tuesday) when they travel to Zeigler-Roylaton. The Eagles will travel to Vienna Wednesday and conclude the week by hosting Carmi-White County on Thursday.
