Prep Volleyball: Eagles fall in three sets at Johnston City

The Eldorado volleyball team lost in three sets to Johnston City Tuesday night.

After winning the first set 25-22, the Eagles were swept 25-22 and 25-22 in the second and third sets.

Mary Mitchell was 59-for-64 on sets with five spikes and one kill. Mitchell finished 13-for-15 at the line with 16 points, one ace and 21 digs.

Dresdyn Bramlet went 6-for-9 on sets with 27 spikes and seven kills. She finished a perfect 18-for-18 on serves with 16 points, five aces, three blocks and 23 digs.

Abby Stead was 25-for-27 on spikes with two kills and 12-for-12 on serves with 12 points, nine blocks, three kills and 39 digs.

Brooklynn Peavler went 3-for-3 on serves with three serves and 24 digs, while Katrina Beaumont went 12-for-12 on sets with seven spikes and one kill. Beaumont went 8-for-9 on serves with nine points, one ace and 38 digs.

Lexi Clore went 6-for-7 on serves with seven points, one ace, one spike and 23 digs.

Sydney Whitlock was one-for-one on sets with 13 spikes and one kill, while going 4-for-5 on serves with five points, three aces and eight digs.

Lacy Jo Bradley went 6-for-6 on sets with 14 spikes, seven kills and 11 digs.
