Sheriff probes hay bale arson

The Saline County Sheriff's Office is investigating an arson case, involving several hay bales burned Tuesday night or Wednesday morning in the area north of Raleigh.

"The hay bales have an estimated cost of $75 each and a total of 18 bales were destroyed," Sheriff Keith Brown.

"We ask that anyone with information regarding the arson or sees some suspicious in the area to contact the Saline County Sheriff's Office."

The hay bales were burnt in two locations in the northern part of Saline County.
