OBITUARY: Cicely Lynn Ellis

Cicely Lynn Ellis, age 25 of Mesquite, Texas, formerly of Carrier Mills, died Friday

Sept. 26, 2014, in Mesquite.

She was born on April 11, 1989, in Joliet, to the late Veronda Ellis Barnes.

She graduated High School in Texas and attended college to receive her degree

in culinary arts.

She is survived by four brothers, Cortez Ellis, Jaime Ellis, DeShawn (Sarah)

Ellis and Darvon Ellis; her grandparents, Jack and Mildred Keene of Harrisburg; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family including her special aunt, Sharon Lynn Mitchell, with whom she made her home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014, at the

First United Methodist Church in Carrier Mills with the Rev. Stan Irvin officiating.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until the service time at the church.

Burial will be in the Sunset Garden Cemetery in Harrisburg.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Absher-Nicholson Funeral Home in Carrier Mills.
