Prep Golf: Eagles fall in triangular at Carmi

Ashton Goodley fired a one-over, 34 Monday taking medalist honors and helping the Eldorado girls golf team to a 152-178 win over Carmi Monday at Carmi Country Club.

Taylor Goodley carded a 36, while Taylor Aldridge (40), Jaclyn Artman (42) and Sydney Tate (48) gave Eldorado three scores in the 40's as the Eagles prep for today's (Tuesdays) Black Diamond Conference meet at Franklin County Country Club.

Eldorado boys fall in triangular

The Eldorado High School boys' golf team lost in a triangular match to Carmi-White County and NCOE Monday at Carmi Country Club.

The host Bulldogs fired a 155, while NCOE shot a 160 and Eldorado finished with a 195.

Leading the way for the Eagles was John Amberger with a 45, while Jack Mings carded a 47. Braydon Van Zant finished with a 51 and Josh Rice rounded out the four-person scoring with a 52.

Sam Cooker added a 53 and William Jackson shot a 56 for Eldorado, who returns to action today (Tuesday) at Saline County Country Club against NCOE.
