Town & Country Days officially open
The annual Eldorado celebration of Town and Country Days began on the streets of the city's downtown area Wednesday afternoon with a flag ceremony followed by a musical performance by Eldorado Elementary's Pre-K scholars.
This year's Eldorado Town & Country theme is Frozen in Time. The festival runs Wednesday through Friday and the schedule is:
Thursday, Sept. 18
5 p.m. - Carnival Opens - Armband Night Armbands $18
5:30 p.m. - Eldorado T & C Baby Photo/Beauty Pageant (Sponsor: Eldorado Women's Club)
5:30 p.m. - Big Wheel Races (Sponsor: First Southern Bank)
5:30 p.m. - Washer Pitching Registration at Tennis Courts
6 p.m. - Washer Pitching Contest - Singles and Doubles (at tennis courts)
6 p.m. - Bingo starts - Host: Fountainview
