OBITUARY: Clara B. Hall

Clara B. Hall, 94 of Peoria, passed away at 7:29 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 31, 2014, at Grandview Alzheimer's Special Care Center.

Clara was born on Nov. 28, 1919, in Ridgeway, to Peter and Anna (Unfried) Kohl. She married Barney L. Hall. He preceded her in death on June 19, 2003.

She was also preceded in death by one brother and four sisters.

She is survived by her son, Lee Hall of Morton; four grandchildren, Kari, Connor, Samantha and Chloe; one brother, Joe Kohl of Peoria; one sister, Eulalia Murray of Sunnyland; and five nieces and nephews.

Clara was a seamstress for Princess Peggy, Schradzki's and Burlington Coat Factory.

She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church.

A funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, 2014, at St. Bernard Catholic Church. Father David Heinz will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014, at Wright & Salmon Mortuary, with recitation of the Rosary at 7 p.m. An additional visitation will be 30 minutes prior to the Mass at the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Peoria.
