OBITUARY: Barbara Johnson

Barbara Johnson, 80 of Harrisburg, passed away 1:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 4, 2014, at her residence.

She was born in Harrisburg May 4, 1934, the daughter of Guy W. and Irene Travis Price. She married Fred Johnson and he preceded her in death.

Surviving Barbara are a son, Don Watson of Paducah; a daughter, Donna Cardwell of Harrisburg; three sisters, Diane Milligan of Carrier Mills, Carolyn Howard of Harrisburg and Debbie Price of McLeansboro; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; and Sandy Crayne who was raised in the family home.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred Johnson; son, Larry Watson; three daughters, Wanda Watson, Sharon Fuequay and Mary Watson; one brother, Guy W. Price Jr.; and a sister, Marie Price.

Graveside services will precede burial 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014, with the Rev. Ownly Williams officiating. Those attending should go directly to the cemetery. The J.M. Weirauch Funeral Home in Harrisburg is in charge of arrangements.
