DEATH NOTICE: Charlene Pennell McDowell

Charlene Pennell McDowell, 79 of Elizabethtown, died Saturday, July 19, 2014, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Ky.

Funeral services were 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at the Hardin County Church of Christ. Visitation was 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, July 21, 2014, at the church. Arrangements are in the charge of Hardin County Funeral Services, Rose-Gilbert Funeral Home.

She was the widow of Ewing Gary McDowell. She is survived by three sons, two grandsons, four grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and many cousins and friends.
