OBITUARY: Louise Maynor

Louise Maynor, 91 of Harrisburg, passed away 2:50 a.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at FountainView Nursing Home in Eldorado.

She was born Nov. 1, 1922, in Jonesboro, Ark., the daughter of Edgar and Pearlie Mae Ester Pyle. She married Roy Maynor Jr. Dec. 11, 1948, in Waukegan and he preceded her in death Oct. 4, 1975.

Surviving her are two sons, Donald and Sharon Maynor of Homewood and Richard and Gail Maynor of Vienna; and one daughter, Janet Maynor and her friend Jack Lightner of Harrisburg. She is also survived by one brother Jimmy and Mary Lou Pyle of Logansport, Ind.; three grandchildren, Cheri Maynor, Thomas Maynor and Ryan Hobbs; and four grandchildren, Kelsey Hobbs, Lacey Hobbs, Lance Maynor and Max Maynor.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy; three brothers, Raymond and Roy Pyle and a stillborn brother; and two sisters, Lucille Wojtonik and Lorene Winkle.

Private funeral services for the family only will be held Saturday and burial will be in New Liberty Cemetery in Pope County. The J.M. Weirauch Funeral Home in Harrisburg is in charge of arrangements.
