OBITUARY: Amy Jeannine Ferguson

Amy Jeannine Ferguson, age 83 of Galatia, went home to be with the Lord at 12:45 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 2014, at her residence in Galatia.

Amy was born on April 24, 1931, in Harrisburg to the late Lloyd and Amy (Brice) Seten. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

Surviving family members include her two daughters: Dixie Evans of Galatia and Velda (Gary) Roberts of Galatia; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister: Yvonne Wise of Evansville, Ind.; sister-in-law: Alta Tadlock of Hudson, Fla.; several nieces and nephews.

Amy was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and a brother.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg. The Rev. Curtis Hall will officiate. Those wishing to attend are asked to gather at the cemetery. Reed Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
