OBITUARY: Katherine "Sunnie" Penrod

Katherine "Sunnie" Penrod age 92 of Reidland, Ky., passed away 5:50 a.m. Saturday, May 17, 2014, at her residence.

Mrs. Penrod was a native of Wilson Wyoming. She was retired from Wynn Sales and Service and was of the Baptist faith. She was a very active life long member of the Eastern Star even up to her death.

She is survived by her stepson, John Seebold of Florida; stepdaughter, Katie Mellon of California; four grandchildren, Matthew Lahdendorf of Arizona, Kelly Boden and Nathaniel Lahdendorf both of California and Terri Jo Clark of Paducah, Ky.; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earine Penrod; a son, Ronald Penrod; one brother; and one sister. Her parents were Dell D. Judd and Jessie Katherine Dayton Judd.

A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, May 19, 2014, at the Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg with the Rev. Max Anderson officiating. Visitation will be held Monday from 10 a.m. until noon at the Keeling Family Funeral Home in Paducah, Ky.
