OBITUARY: James "Jimmy" Dale Burrell

James "Jimmy" Dale Burrell, 69, Crystal River, Fla., passed away Monday, May 5, 2014, at his home.

He was born July 7, 1944, in Eldorado. He was a 1962 graduate of Eldorado High School, belonged to the International Brotherhood Electrical Workers Union, Tampa, Fla., local 108 and retired Journeyman-lineman.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Elsie May Harrelson-Burrell and father, Jasper Boyd Burrell.

He is survived by his sister, Carole Urtz's; his children, Jeffrey Burrell, Gina King, Vickie Edwards and James Burrell Jr.; and 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; nephew, Mark; nieces, Cheryl, Tanya and Tamera; and a very close friend, Vera Grathler.

James will be greatly missed by all!

Memorial services were 4 p.m. Sunday, May 11, 2014, at New Day Christian Church, 20212 Peachland Blvd., Port Charlotte, 33952. The place of reception was to be announced at the service.
