Prep Baseball: Wildcats rebound with win over Galatia

The Carrier Mills-Stonefort baseball team returned the win column with a 12-2 win over Galatia.

Loren Whiting got the win, working five innings, striking out 10 and allowing two runs on three hits.

Hayden Mitchell took the loss for the Bearcats as the starter. The sophomore went three innings, allowing 11 runs on eight hits while walking six and striking out two.

Austin Stricklin came on in relief of Mitchell, allowing one run on two hits, while walking two and striking out one.

The Wildcats were led at the plate by Jonah Crowder, who went 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles and two RBIs. Brice Batson finished 3-for-4 with three doubles and three RBIs and Anthony Kalodner went 3-for-4 as well.
