Coach Tim Craft had these comments: "It was good to see Camden Youngman come through with a big hit for us. We had one bad inning in the fifth when we could not quite make the plays. We let them get back in the game. Camdon Mercier threw well on the mound. We just gave them opportunities to score. For us to be successful, we have to move runners when they are in scoring position." Coach Craft is assisted by Jeromie Morgan, Dave Hopkins, Kyle Geiger, and Cory Robbins.
Red Bud is coached by Drew Schneider and Dustin Esker.
DuQuoin will be traveling to Goreville on Tuesday (weather permitting), and at home on Wednesday with Zion Benton. Game time on Wednesday will be 4:00. A schedule change for the Indians-the game on March 31 with Vernon Hills has been canceled.
