DEATH NOTICE: Harry Joseph "Joe" Woolcott

Harry Joseph "Joe" Woolcott, 64 of Eldorado, died Saturday, March 22, 2014, in Mt. Vernon.

He was born in Harrisburg on August 31, 1949, to the late Harry and Jayne (Stroebel) Woolcott. He was an Army veteran and worked as a industrial engineer at Continental Tire in Mt. Vernon. On Aug. 9, 1969, he married the former Connie Feazel and she survives in Eldorado.

Also surviving is a son, Brad (Lori) Woolcott of Eldorado; a daughter, Michelle (Greg) Cook of Eldorado; six grandchildren, Drew Woolcott, Abby Woolcott, Anderson Woolcott, Deric Schneider, Lauren Schneider and Chesney Cook; a brother, Mike (Pam) Woolcott of Murray; a sister, Pat (Jack) Johnson of Murray; several nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law, Treva (Jim) Spivey of Eldorado; two brothers-in-law, Lance Feazel of Eldorado and Roger (Kathi) Jones of Omaha; and a mother-in-law, Alice Feazel of Eldorado.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at the Watson Funeral Home with Aaron Phelps officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery near Equality with military rites. Visitation will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at the funeral home until service time of 1 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Eldorado Boy Scouts Troop No. 14 or the American Cancer Society and left at the funeral home.
