OBITUARY: ChriSandra “Chrissy” Lampert Williams

Chrissy went missing in Rosiclare on Dec. 2, 2013. Large amounts of search efforts were conducted by ground, air, and water. Finally, on March 20, 2014, a search team from Moro, Team Watters, discovered Chrissy and her vehicle in the Ohio River in Rosiclare in front of the park only 25 feet off the bank. Cause of death is unknown at this time.

Chrissy was an amazing person who had a heart of gold and a smile that would captivate your heart.

She never met a stranger and considered many a friend. At the time of her death she was a resident of Shawneetown; however, she lived 20 years in Eldorado and was originally from Hardin County.

She was a wonderful mother and very proud of her only child, PVT Dustin H. Williams (USMC). He was her life and she couldn't wait to see him become a Marine, unfortunately she never got to see it. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, niece and friend.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at the Watson Funeral Home with the Rev. Dennis Robison officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, March 24, 2014, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to "Hope for Chrissy" and can be left at the funeral home.
