NBC Renews Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D. and Grimm

The (fictional) firefighters and police officers of Chicago have reason to celebrate.

NBC has renewed sophomore drama Chicago Fire , its freshman spin-off Chicago P.D. and supernatural hit Grimm for the 2014-2015 TV season, the network announced Wednesday.

Chicago Fire, from Law & Order creator Dick Wolf, has averaged 10.6 million viewers and a 3.1 rating with adults 18-49. It's spin-off Chicago P.D., which launched in January, has averaged 8.9 million viewers and a 2.5 rating. Early in its run, NBC ordered two additional episodes of the cop series to bring its Season 1 total to 15.

Going into its fourth season, Grimm has averaged 8.1 million viewers and a 2.5 rating this season in its original Friday-night timeslot.
