L'Wren Scott, Fashion Designer and Mick Jagger's Girlfriend, Dead of Apparent Suicide

L'Wren Scott, a fashion designer and the girlfriend of Mick Jagger, was found dead of an apparent suicide inside her Manhattan apartment Monday, ABC News reports.

Scott, 47, was found by her assistant shortly after 10 a.m. Monday and appeared to have hung herself. Police do not suspect foul play, and no suicide note was found, according to the New York Daily News .

A model and fashion designer, Scott has had her clothing featured in Barneys and Banana Republic, and worn by celebrities including Michelle Obama, Angelina Jolie and Madonna. She and Jagger, who's currently on tour in Australia, had been an item since 2001.
