Kanye West Pleads No Contest, Sentenced to Anger Management
On Monday, Kanye West pleaded no contest to misdemeanor battery after attacking a photographer at Los Angeles Airport last year, People reports.
As part of a plea deal, West was sentenced to two years of probation, 250 hours of community service and anger management therapy. West's plea was entered by his lawyer.
Last year, West was charged with criminal battery and attempted grand theft, each of which have maximum penalties of six months, for an altercation with videographer Daniel Ramos at Los Angeles Airport, in which West attempted to steal Ramos' camera. West quickly fled the scene, but the incident was caught on tape.
