OBITUARY: Geraldine Trusgnaick

Geraldine Trusgnaick, age 86, resident of Fountain View Nursing Home in Eldorado, and a former resident of Harco, passed away Friday, March 7, 2014, in the Fountain View Nursing Home.

She was born in Carrsville, Ky., on Oct. 16, 1927, to the late Ulyess and Lorene Fly Huff. She married Albert Trusgnaick on July 21, 1951, and he preceded her in death on June 15, 2005. She retired as a seamstress from Harrisburg Manufacturing.

She is survived by a daughter, Beverly Kelley of Fellows, Calif.; a son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Elaine Atwood of New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; five grandchildren, Ronnie Odum, Michael Atwood, Kristin Atwood, Brian Atwood and Cameron Laidlaw; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Junior Huff; a sister, Maxine Remmetta; and a grandson, Warren Odum.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 13, 2014, at the Absher-Nicholson Funeral Home in Carrier Mills where friends may call after 10 a.m. The Rev. Harl Cockrum will officiate and burial will be in Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg.
