OBITUARY: Robert L. Sanders

Robert L. Sanders, age 71, of Harrisburg, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2014, at Harrisburg Medical Center.

Robert was born in Clinton, Iowa, on Feb. 12, 1943, to the late Harry L. and Marie J. (Campie) Sanders. On Oct. 13, 1986, he married Doris Ann Sullivan. Robert was a retired bus driver and a lifetime member of the American Legion. He was a veteran who served in the Korean War.

Surviving family members include his daughter: Jeanette (Scott) Hahn of Hilliard, Ohio; two grandchildren: Amanda (Earl) Stenlund of Rougemont, N.C., and Heather Hahn of Hilliard, Ohio; great-granddaughter: Allie Stenlund of Rougemont, N.C.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife: Doris Ann Sanders on June 30, 2008; daughter: Jennifer King; and son: Kevin King.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at Reed Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg.
