The U.S. economy added 175,000 jobs in February, more than was expected, according to the Department of Labor. The numbers top January's as well. The unemployment rate in February was 6.7 percent.

The big movies opening this weekend are "300: Rise of an Empire," an R action movie that is a sequel of sorts to the bloody "300'; and a film at the opposite end of the spectrum, the gentle PG "Mr. Peabody & Sherman," an animated tale about the titular characters.
