OBITUARY: Patsy S. Gould

Patsy S. Gould, age 72 of Omaha, died peacefully on Monday, Feb. 24, 2014, in the Fountainview Nursing Home in Eldorado.

Patsy was born in Vincennes, Ind., on July 19, 1941, to the late Estel and Veda (Thompson) Rodgers. On Dec. 21, 1960, she married Bill Gould who preceded her in death in 2000. Patsy was especially proud of getting her GED late in life and becoming a CNA. She was a great caregiver. She loved to fish behind their house on the family farm but even loved to eat them more. Patsy loved animals especially her dogs. Patsy was a wonderful wife, loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be missed.

She is survived by her son, Sam and wife Melody Gould of Omaha; her grandchildren, Kiley and John Gould; her sister, Madelyn and Jerry Brazier of Tennessee.

Visitation for Patsy will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014, at the Cox & Son Funeral Home in Ridgway. Her funeral service will follow the visitation starting at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Jarrod Barton officiating. Interment will follow at the Hazel Ridge Cemetery near her farm home in Omaha.
