Salma Hayek's Brother Injured in Fatal Car Crash

Salma Hayek's brother was hospitalized after he was involved in a fatal car crash that claimed the life of his passenger, according to The Associated Press.

On Sunday, Sami Hayek lost control of his car and collided with another vehicle on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles. His passenger, photographer and Grammy-winning art director Ian Cuttler Sala, died as a result. The driver of the other car broke his foot, while Hayek suffered severeal broken ribs.

Investigators are looking into what caused Hayek, a furniture designer, to lose control.
