Dist. 300 reassigns teacher to DMS science; fills four extracurricular slots

Following Thursday night's executive session, the Du Quoin Board of Education approved the transfer of Darin Hicks to a Middle School science teacher position for the 2014-2015 school year.

The board employed the following to extra-curricular positions for the 2013-2014 school year: Jacob Emling - assistant high school softball coach, Eric Kirkpatrick - assistant high school girls track coach, and Jeromie Morgan - assistant high school baseball coach.

The board approved the spring sport volunteer coaches list as submitted by the high school athletic director.
