OBITUARY: Edna L. Winters

Edna L. Winters, 86 of 27 W. Virginia St., Harrisburg, died Monday, Feb. 3, 2014, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery and the Rev. Ownly Williams will officiate.

She was born on Feb. 25, 1927, in Eldorado, to the late James Levi and Coila Alice (Huddelston) Davis.

She married Dorris Winters in 1946 and he preceded in death on June 16, 1999.

She was a member of the Harvest Deliverance Center in Harrisburg and also attended the Church of New Beginnings in Harrisburg. Edna loved to go to church and talk about the Lord.

She is survived by four sons: Rick (Jean) Winters, Fred (Sandy) Winters, Bill Winters and Terry Winters, all of Harrisburg; daughter: Kaye Brock of Eldorado; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son: Randy Winters; and a daughter: Bertha Alice Winters.
