OBITUARY: Frances E. Hardin

Frances E. Hardin, 77, resident of Harrisburg, passed away Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.

Frances was born Oct. 18, 1936, in Harrisburg to the late Herman and Lucille (Foster) Head. She married Edward Franklin Hardin who preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and loved playing Bingo.

Frances is survived by two sons, Mark (Patty) Hardin of Eldorado and Marvin (Charbelle Collins) Hardin of Harrisburg; two daughters, Mona (Harold) Casteel of Harrisburg and Rebecca (Rich) Oxford of Harrisburg; a sister, Sara Lou (John) Mayden of Crown Point, Ind.; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a grandson Eddie E. Hardin Jr.; four brothers, Bill, Gene, Emery and Pete; and a sister, Agnes Feazel.

Funeral services will be at noon Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014, at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home with the Rev. Barry Bascom officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to service time Thursday.
