OBITUARY: Paul W. Dismuke

Paul W. Dismuke, 82, formerly of Harrisburg, transitioned from this life on to the next on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014, at Christian Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

He was born on May 22, 1931, to the union of Turner Dismukes Sr. and Jinnette (Minor) Dismukes in Jackson, Tenn. He was educated in the Jackson School District attending Merry High School and served in the United States Army from 1952 until 1954. Following his service he was employed by Peabody Coal Company where he retired. He later developed a passion for auto mechanics which he was known for throughout his life.

Services will be held Friday, Jan. 17, 2014, beginning with the visitation from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and funeral from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church 915 N. Taylor St., St. Louis, Mo. 63108. Interment will be immediately following service at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, 2900 Sheridan Road, St. Louis, Mo.
