Lea Michele kicked off the New Year by showing off her beach bod in Mexico.

"What an amazing week in Mexico...New day. New year. #Bringit2014," Michele tweeted along with a photo from behind of her in a barely there bikini.

Michele, 27, seems ready to leave 2013 behind. In July, her boyfriend and Glee co-star Cory Monteith was found dead from a fatal combination of heroin and alcohol.

"It's certainly been a pretty rough year," Michele told Ellen DeGeneres last month. "But I've been surrounded by such great people, such great family."

Michele wrapped up the year by returning to the Fox show and also preparing for the release of her debut album, Louder, out on Feb. 28. Her first single, "Cannonball," came out on Dec. 10.
