OBITUARY: Sandra S. Milligan

Sandra S. Milligan, age 71 of Harrisburg, passed away at 3:49 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013, at Harrisburg Medical Center.

Sandra was born on Sept. 11, 1942, in Harrisburg, to the late Raymond R. Irene (Beal) Roberts. She married Donald Ray "Crow" Milligan on Dec. 23, 1961, and he preceded her in death on March 26, 2001. Sandra attended Liberty Baptist Church and she was a retired housekeeper for Saline Care Center.

Sandra is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Dunn and husband Lee of Harrisburg; son, Darin Milligan and wife Sheryl of Shawneetown; four grandchildren, Whitnee Grimes, Weston Grimes and wife Raven, Krissy Milligan and Jake Evans; and three great-grandchildren, Korbyn, Saniah and Easton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; daughter, Kris Milligan; and great-granddaughter, Kaylan Grimes.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. The Rev. Randy Vaughn will officiate. Burial will follow in Pierson Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 30, 2013 at Reed Funeral Chapel.
